Activity 1B: Halloween Venn Diagrams

Once students have been informed of the origins of Halloween, they will complete a Venn diagram illustrating similarities and differences between the original festivities and the present-day Halloween celebrations (see "Halloween Venn Diagram" sheet). Further, students may also complete a Venn diagram comparing and contrasting the Latin American celebration, El Día de los Muertos, with ancient and/or modern day Halloween.
