Activity 2A: “Myth-Adventures in Advertising” – Truth About Sleep Advertising

This activity is designed to help students develop critical thinking skills as they investigate websites for prescription and over the counter (OTC) sleep aids. Students will analyze website design and content  using the jigsaw method to gather and share information with other members of their group. They will identify target audiences, persuasion strategies, graphic design techniques, as well as the direct and inferred messages delivered by these website on the subject of sleep aids.
