Have the students keep a dietary journal of all the food and drink they intake over a two-day period. Give each person two different colored highlighters or map pencils. From the notes they have taken, have them go through their dietary journal and high-light each food/drink that will stick to their teeth and trigger tooth decay with one color. Have them go back over their journals and highlight the foods/drinks that will benefit the teeth in the other color.
