The teacher should use the Book List to select one or more books for the students to read as a class, in groups, or individually. Students should discuss two things concerning the older character:
The Challenges (problems) experienced by the older character as he/she is aging, and
Products and Services that might be needed by the older character because of these challenges.
The teacher (or a recorder) should record responses on the chalkboard (for the class) or on butcher paper (in groups). Students should first list Challenges, and then Products and Services which would enhance the character's life.
