Activity Description

Teachers may wish to preface this activity with a look at historical factors affecting life span from 1850–1990. This might include, but should not be limited to, advancements and inventions in sanitation, nutrition, medicine, and laws regulating prescription drugs. Students may refer to their Older Friend time line (Unit 4) for ideas and examples of historical events.
