Students need to understand that there are different forms of intelligence. These different forms of intelligence lead to different ways of obtaining knowledge; no way is necessarily right or wrong. By identifying their own strength areas they can have successful learning experiences which will lead to the pursuit of further education. By knowing the areas in which they lack skills, they can strive to develop those weaker areas to optimize their acquisition of knowledge.

Introduction
Lesson 4, "Learning Styles," is designed to teach students that there are many ways to learn and acquire knowledge. Each person has their own learning style with varying strengths and weaknesses. The activities of this lesson center on students evaluating their own learning styles and considering ways to improve their ability to learn.
