Activity Description

Using the "Sample Data Set", the students should find the mode of the English and Spanish survey scores. To find the mode the students look at their data to see which number appears most often. Instruct the students to record the answer on the worksheet. Were the English and Spanish modes the same? Should they have been the same? The students should be able to predict at this time why they are or are not the same. They should be able to do this before you even have them find the mode.
