Introduction
Lesson 5, “Computer Skills,” gives students more practice in calculating descriptive statistics and graphing using a computer. Rather than the small data set in lesson 4, students use a larger data set with 100 observations. This activity extends lesson 4 by introducing sorting by categories (gender in this example) and obtaining category specific statistics.
