Conduct group research on fluoride. Each group is responsible for defining fluoride, identifying the benefits of fluoride, sources of fluoride for the teeth, and which communities in your state have fluoride treated water supplies and which do not and why? After the group research is conducted, each group must give a group presentation. As each groups presents, students are to take notes on the information presented in their journals.
